The Issue: Whether Democrats who are unsatisfied with Obama’s presidency should vote Republican.

***

Jerry Della Femina makes a good point in suggesting that Democrats should vote for Mitt Romney (“Time For ‘Democrats for Romney,’ ” PostOpinion, Aug. 17).

Democrats need not fear crossing the line for Romney.

A single defeat, even in a presidential election, is not going to mean the end of the Democratic Party. It could even strengthen the party by getting rid of harmful leadership and harmful policies.

Truthfully, there are numerous individuals who fit precisely the profiles Della Femina described.

President Obama is not the man a vast majority of Americans thought they were voting for — he was never vetted.

Shame on America, and particularly the complicit media, who were willingly suckered in.

Obama’s resumé was so short, it could have been written on a Post-it note.
