I read Andrea Peyser’s piece on “The 99” and watched a preview of it (“Trading Cape for the Burqa,” Oct. 11).

As compared with “The Simpsons” or “Family Guy,” “The 99” is a breath of fresh air.

No perverts, brainlessness or foul language. I also did not see any pushing of Islam, as Andrea suggests.
