Hooray for Rensselaer County Clerk Frank Merola (“7 More Take ID-Plan Exit,” Oct. 24).

He’s the first to file a lawsuit against Gov. Spitzer regarding his terrible plan to grant driver’s licenses to illegal aliens.

It’s nice to know that someone cares about doing things the legal, pro-American way.

Good for you, Frank. Way to go!
