It is embarrassing for The Post to publish this spurious editorial the very day that Ambassador Susan Rice led the Security Council to unanimously pass one of the toughest and most swiftly adopted sanctions resolutions in UN history (“The Absentee Ambassador,” Feb. 26).

Resolution 1970 imposes a strong set of sanctions aimed at stopping the Khadafy regime from slaughtering its own people.

While The Post’s editorial board may have little time for it, the United Nations is getting the situation in Libya right, and the ambassador’s leadership has been decisive.

As she has said repeatedly, Moammar Khadafy is delusional and dangerous and must be stopped.
