UNSTIMULATING
Casey B. Mulligan’s column on the true effects of the stimulus package is a critical analysis based on sound economic principles that should be practiced whenever spending our tax dollars (“Stop the Stimulus!” PostScript, Aug. 9).
The very core of economics within the public sector is clear and simple — that input should not exceed output and that all public policy should reap the most results for every taxpayer dollar.
Mulligan’s examples of Obamanomics clearly show the recklessness of these wasteful policies.
No clear-thinking policy analyst would break the bank while telling you he’s saving it. It just doesn’t add up.
