The Issue: Nik Wallenda’s record-breaking walk on a tightrope over Niagara Falls.
***
Way to go, Nik Wallenda (“Niagara Falls . . . Step by Step,” June 16)!
He dodged the elements at Niagara Falls and pulled off a breathtaking stunt.
I saw Nik’s great-grandfather Karl Wallenda walk across Veterans Stadium in Philadelphia in 1972.
Karl even threw in a headstand for good measure halfway through.
I’m proud of the Wallenda family.

Bravo to Nik Wallenda — the first man to successfully risk life and limb with his high-wire act over Niagara Falls.
His next dare ought to be crossing over Queens Boulevard during rush hour.
Now that would truly be a dangerous and scary undertaking.
