Your article (“Downgrade ‘Doer’ Was No Biz Wiz,” Aug. 7) rips S&P executives for lowering the US credit rating.

The piece then calls into question the academic credentials of S&P’s John Chambers, whom you call the “man who sank US credit.”

But your article has the wrong culprit — he can be found at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue in Washington, DC. And he is a man of very limited talent and credentials.
