The iconic British Airways Concorde G-BOAD supersonic jet returns to the Intrepid Museum following a months-long restoration project at GMD Shipyard in Brooklyn Navy Yard. On Wednesday, March 13th, Concorde was loaded onto a barge and traveled up the Hudson River to Weeks Marine in Jersey City, N.J. for overnight storage. On Thursday, March 14th, it sailed back to the Museum at Pier 86, Manhattan.
The iconic British Airways Concorde G-BOAD supersonic jet returns to the Intrepid Museum following a months-long restoration project at GMD Shipyard in Brooklyn Navy Yard.
