16-year-old Ryan Buffolino was sworn in by Suffolk County Police Commissioner Stuart Cameron as a Suffolk County Police Officer for the day. Buffolino has Down Syndrome and was given a Suffolk County Police I.D., a tour of Police Headquarters, got to wear EMS gear and use some of their tools. Buffolino also got a demonstration from the K-9 unit on August 6, 2021.
