Former Yankees third baseman (and now New York City real estate investor) Alex Rodriguez recently toured the most expensive penthouse atop Soho’s Puck Building.

The 7,241-square-foot home is currently on the market for $42.5 million — a 35% drop from its original $66 million ask in 2015.

Rodriguez’s visit to the five-bedroom apartment comes at a time when he and fiancé Jennifer Lopez are still trying to sell her $24.99 million penthouse at The Whitman, at 21 E. 26th St. overlooking Madison Square Park, and their shared $17.5 million unit at 432 Park Ave. in Midtown.

A source close to A-Rod said he was a fan of the Puck penthouse, which he toured last week. “He loved it — the privacy, the security and the outdoor space,” the source says, adding that there are potential deals in play for the units at The Whitman and 432 Park.

The Puck Building penthouse comes with seven full bathrooms and a powder room. The spread also features 5,158 square feet of outdoor space and comes with its own elevator landing.

Back inside, there’s a seven-room master suite with city views, a double-sized living room with a fireplace and giant windows throughout.

The listing broker is Adam Modlin, of the Modlin Group.
