A landmarked Murray Hill triplex — in a townhouse once home to the late, legendary actors Jessica Tandy and Hume Cronyn —  is on the market as a $14,500-a-month rental.

The historic townhouse, at 113 E. 35th St. between Park and Lexington avenues, even has a plaque outside commemorating the couple — who lived there from the late 1940s to the early 1950s.

The couple, who often shared stages or screens, were married from 1942 to 1994. An actress with a long resume in theater and film, Tandy is best known for her Oscar-winning role as the titular curmudgeon in “Driving Miss Daisy,” while Cronyn appeared in the “Cocoon” movies.

Built in 1857, the 2,160-square-foot triplex has been restored, including original mahogany banisters, window shutters, moldings and hardwood floors. The apartment holds four bedrooms and 3½ bathrooms.

There’s also a chef’s kitchen and a dining room with a Venetian glass chandelier and a 288-square-foot terrace that overlooks a private courtyard.

You’ll also find a living room with a decorative fireplace and a master bedroom with a stylish fireplace, as well.

The private roof deck has views of the Empire State Building and the Chrysler Building.

The townhouse also features another unit. The owners bought the home in 2006 for $3.1 million.

The listing broker is Corcoran’s Amy Hershman.
