For $125,000, you can spend the summer in a work of art.

Upstate, in Ancram, New York, America’s only residence designed by famed Chinese artist and activist Ai Weiwei, in collaboration with Swiss firm HHF Architects, is up for grabs.

Known as the Tsai Residence, the home dates to 2006 — and was commissioned as a vacation home for one of Ai’s collectors, Chinese-American businessman Christopher Tsai.

It’s available for rent from June 4 to Sept. 7. The property is also still on the market for $5.25 million, as we reported last year.

The Tsai Residence sits on 37 acres. The 3,500-square-foot spread has three bedrooms and three bathrooms. It features exotic wood details, window walls, a chef’s kitchen and three fireplaces. There’s also a second, Y-shaped guest house, with exteriors that complement the corrugated metal of local farm sheds.

Outside, there’s a 50-foot-long pool overlooking the Catskills.

The listing broker is Graham Klemm, of Klemm Real Estate.
