Top fashion designer Alexander Wang’s chic Tribeca loft is in contract.
It was last asking $3.5 million.
The one-bedroom, two-bathroom co-op on the third floor of 39 Worth St., between Church and West Broadway, is 2,550 square feet. The Observer first reported that it had found a buyer.
It comes with oversized windows with electric blinds, restored tin ceilings and dramatically fashioned prewar details like exposed white brick juxtaposed with ebony-stained hardwood floors.
Of course, there is plenty of closet space for fashionistas, along with a chef’s kitchen and a laundry room.
The building has only two apartments per floor and comes with a key-lock elevator.
Listing brokers are Alex Nicholas and Andrew Fink, of Corcoran.
We hear…that Compass also put a feather in its cap when six-time NBA All-Star Amar’e Stoudemire — who just retired on July 26 — signed a two-year contract to play for Hapoel Jerusalem.
That Israeli basketball team is owned by Ori Allon, founder and executive chairman of Compass.
The opportunity, said Stoudemire, who has a Star of David tattoo, will be a “spiritual journey” and a “dream … come true.”
