British artist Cecily Brown and her husband, the former New York Times architecture critic Nicolai Ouroussoff, have put their three-bedroom, three-bathroom Greenwich Village apartment on the market for $2.99 million.
The couple have since moved on to an East Village home at 125 E. 10th St., which they bought for $7.75 million in 2019, according to property records.
The three-bedroom, at 24 Fifth Ave., is on the 15th floor of an Emery Roth building that was once a residential hotel.
Brown’s work can be seen at MoMA, the Guggenheim and the Whitney, to name a few — and her artistic eye and use of eclectic color is evident in every room.
The unit is a combo of a two-bedroom and a studio overseen by the architect Jonathan Caplan. It opens to a foyer that leads to a double-wide living room facing Fifth Avenue.
The co-listing brokers are Jason Haber of Warburg Realty and Douglas Elliman’s Steve Halprin and Jan Hashey.
