The days of No Sleep Till Brooklyn are long gone.
Now Beastie Boys’ Mike D and Tamra Davis, parents of two, have just sold their 3,200 square foot Cobble Hill townhouse for $5.548 million, according to city property records. That price is slightly down from its $5.65 million asking price.
The stylishly renovated four story home at 148 Baltic Street was built in 1853.
Mike D — his last name is Diamond — and Davis, a film and music video director and online cooking show host and cookbook author, designed the home themselves — including its custom toile wallpaper.
The design is over-the-top Brooklyn-centric, including hanging glass shelves in the kitchen designed by a local metalworks shop. The couple bought the home for $3.1 million in 2011 — paying $115,000 over its asking price.
Mike D once described the home as a suburban dream re-interpreted for Brooklyn. He also recently sold 242 Pacific Street in Boerum Hill.
The listing brokers were Amy Katcher, Leslie Marshall and James Cornell of Corcoran.
