Some parents buy their kids furniture when they move to a new city. Bill and Melinda Gates have bought their daughter a $15.82 million horse farm in the Westchester town of North Salem, multiple sources tell The Post.

Jennifer Gates, who graduates from Stanford University this year, is planning on moving to New York, and we hear she may be continuing her studies at New York University in the fall.

As a top equestrian, Jennifer’s new 124-acre farm will come in handy.

The off-market deal was brokered by Muffin Dowdle, of Ginnel Real Estate, who did not return calls. The deal was first reported by The Journal News.

Property records reveal the purchase was made by Robert Buote, trustee of Wellington Trust, which has been used to buy other properties for the Gates family in Florida.

The estate was previously owned by Duncan and Renea Dayton. Duncan, a real estate developer and former race car driver, is heir to the Dayton-Hudson Corporation fortune. His great grandfather George Dayton founded the company, which evolved into Target Corporation.
