Kushner Companies has dropped the price of a gut-renovated, single-family townhouse at 100 Pierrepont St. in Brooklyn Heights to $9.5 million, following a broker swap. It was asking $11.25 million last year.

Jared Kushner, who’s in hot water for — in part — doing White House business through his private email, and for meeting with Kremlin-linked Russians at Trump Tower last June, spearheaded the project before he quit running its daily operations and became a senior advisor to his father-in-law, President Trump.

Kushner announced the plan to transform this townhouse, as well as two others — properties located at 38 Monroe Place and 27 Monroe Place that were formerly owned by Brooklyn Law School — into five-story, single-family spreads in 2014.

Kushner Companies bought the building from Brooklyn Law School for $6.02 million in 2014.

Not only is this 7,120-square-foot manse still on the sales market for less, it’s also on the market as a rental. It is currently asking $25,000 a month, but has asked as much as $28,000 a month and as low as $19,99 a month earlier in the summer.

The Italianate brownstone, built in 1857, was once home to shipping mogul Henry B. Cromwell, who founded steamship lines in the 19th century, according to the listing.

The 20-foot-wide townhouse comes with new mechanicals and smart-wired for lighting. At five stories, including a finished basement, the home features high ceilings, oversize windows, wide-plank oak floors, a fireplace, a tiered and landscaped garden and a roof terrace with water views.

There’s also an open chef’s kitchen leading to a separate butler’s pantry, a staircase with a skylight and a full floor master suite.

The listing brokers are Ravi Kantha, Jed Garfield and Matthew Lesser of Leslie J. Garfield.
