Auto mogul Terry Taylor has added a new trophy home to his collection.

The businessman, who has the largest number of car dealerships in the world, is the buyer of Tommy Hilfiger’s Plaza penthouse, according to city property records.

And he bought it for a relative deal: $31.5 million, records show.

Last month, The Post exclusively revealed that the penthouse, owned by the fashion designer and his wife, Dee Ocleppo, was finally in contract.

It first hit the market in 2008 and had been priced as high as $80 million.

Taylor, who bought the Plaza penthouse through an LLC named TT Skyline, is a high-flying businessman with his own Gulfstream jet that has personal details like coffee cups embossed with “TT” in gold.

Because he closed after the city’s new mansion tax took effect in July, Taylor paid $1.21 million. His taxes would have been $312,500 had he sealed the deal in June or earlier.

“Not that it matters to him!” quipped one real estate insider.

He also paid an additional $2 million for Hilfiger’s furnishings and some art, a source close to the deal said.
