Oscar-winning actress Cate Blanchett and theater director hubby Andrew Upton have sold their Bulwarra estate outside Sydney, Australia, for a little more than $14 million, The Post has learned. And it appears that the property was sold in preparation for a move across the ocean to the United States.

“It won’t be a permanent move,” Blanchett insisted to the Sydney Morning Herald earlier this year of their plans. “Sydney will always be our home. But it will be an adventure.”

There’s no word on who bought their estate, which hit the market last month and looks out to Lane Cove River. First built in 1877, then renovated in 2007, the sandstone manor — located about 7 miles from Sydney’s central business district — has five bedrooms and four full bathrooms, according to its listing. There’s a chef’s kitchen with concrete flooring, a home office/library with double-height ceilings, plus a family area on the upper level that opens to a veranda.

The property also includes a pool pavilion, heated pool wrapped in raw-finished decking, covered spa and dining pergola. The sweet outdoor features additionally include a tennis court and trampoline platform.

Christie’s International Real Estate and its affiliate Ken Jacobs had this listing.
