Charlotte Bernard, 48, the original ex-wife of financier Olivier Sarkozy, has sold her Upper East Side home at a loss for $3.3 million, according to city property records.

The four-bedroom, three-bathroom duplex at 125 E. 74th St. was originally on the market for $4.25 million in 2018, and last asking $3.5 million. Bernard bought the home for $3.72 million in 2012, following her 2010 divorce.

She then wrote a book, “Men Are Like Melons: A French Woman’s Guide to Surviving Divorce and Finding Love in the Era of the App.”

By then, Olivier Sarkozy, 51, had moved on to fashion designer and former “Full House” star Mary-Kate Olsen.

But that five-year marriage — between Sarkozy, a 6-foot-3-inch banker, and Olsen, a comparably tiny 5-foot-tall 34-year-old — began to fizzle, and permanently dissolve, during the pandemic.

That’s when Sarkozy apparently moved Bernard, their two kids and his mom into a 4,000-square-foot Hamptons mansion — that he shared with Olsen, according to Page Six.

While Sarkozy was dealing with marital woes, his half brother, former French President Nicholas Sarkozy, was in hot water with the authorities. On March 1, he was sentenced to three years in prison for corruption and influence peddling; two years of the sentence were suspended and he can serve the rest while under house arrest.

Bernard’s former E. 74th St. duplex opens on the lower level with an entry that leads to a large entertaining space with views of landmarked townhouses nearby.

The home features a woodburning fireplace, oak floors, built-in bookcases, a chef’s kitchen and high ceilings. There’s also a staircase that leads to the upstairs private level, including a main suite with a walk-in closet.

The building, which dates to 1929, was designed by architect Lafayette A. Goldstone, of 730 and 640 Park Ave. Building amenities include a private garden, gym and bike storage. The buyer is the chief operating officer at Kaplowitz and former Goldman Sachs executive Elena Ende.

The listing broker is Sotheby’s Martine D. Capdevielle.
