


Chef John Fraser — known for Michelin-starred vegetarian eatery Nix and brasserie The Loyal — has been on the house hunt in Chelsea, checking out an $8,900-a-month unit at 246 W. 17th St.
This year, he sold his interest in now-defunct Dovetail, the Upper West Side fine dining restaurant that made brought him to culinary prominence, and he left the Standard hotel’s popular Narcissa, which he launched in 2016.

The 1,488-square-foot pad Fraser eyed comes with two bedrooms and 2½ bathrooms.
It has high ceilings, a wall of windows and an open kitchen overlooking the living/entertainment space.
Building amenities include a private parking garage, a residents’ lounge, bike storage and private storage.
The listing broker, Nest Seeker International’s Jessica Campbell, declined to comment.
