Chris Hemsworth must be doing alright…the Aussie star and his actress wife Elsa Pataky have just splashed out more than $4.66 million on a Malibu beach house (of course, beach houses in Malibu aren’t exactly shacks).

Ironically, they bought the house from “Crocodile Dundee” star Paul Hogan and his wife Linda Kozlowski, who did a pretty profitable flip on the property, after purchasing it just a year ago for $3.8 million. (Hogan might need the extra cash given he claimed earlier this year that his financial adviser had made off with $34,000,000 he kept in a Swiss bank account.)

Radar Online is reporting that the couple wanted more space for their 16-month-old daughter, something they’ll certainly get with their stunning new pad, which measures in at over 6,000 square feet, with five bedrooms, a library, a state of the art kitchen, and topped off with amazing ocean views.

Sounds like there’ll be a spare room and surfboard for brother, Liam.
