A touch of class is coming to the uptown First Avenue nightlife scene.

According to Community Board 8 documents, an “entity to be formed by Curt Huegel” has applied for a liquor license at 1373 First Ave. near East 73rd Street — the former site of the noisy Banshee Pub.

Huegel is the owner of Host Restaurants, which operates eateries including Bill’s Townhouse in Midtown and Campagnola, a long-popular Italian place on the next block from his still-unnamed new venture.

He previously co-founded LDV Hospitality, which partnered with chefs including Scott Conant and Alain Allegretti, although Huegel is no longer involved.

Huegel’s new space has 1,100 square feet at an asking rent of $14,000 a month, according to a flyer from Meridian Retail Leasing’s James Famularo and Eliot Goldschmidt.

No one involved in the deal could be reached.
