Argentine developer, hotelier and former fashion designer Alan Faena is selling his stunning, Spanish-style waterfront abode for $16.5 million. Built in the early 20th century, the Pine Tree Drive residence will be the setting for some rather lavish soirees during Art Basel.

Featuring nine bedrooms, seven bathrooms and two powder rooms, the house — with over-the-top lavish details like ceramic cheetahs, gold candelabras, painted ceilings and, of course, lots of red — was reportedly the inspiration behind the Faena Hotel on Miami Beach.

The one-acre estate also includes a four-bedroom, three-bathroom guesthouse, lush landscaping, a pool and a private dock. Faena bought the property for $10.3 million in 2014. The listing brokers are Douglas Elliman’s Oren Alexander and Isaac Lustgarten.
