Diane Keaton credits her old apartment at the legendary San Remo as “the beginning of [her] true interest in architecture,” as she once told Wine Spectator.

The three-bedroom unit is now back on the market for $14.5 million, down from its $17.5 million ask last year.

Keaton bought the co-op after starring in Woody Allen’s “Annie Hall.” The seller is investment banker Lawrence Slaughter, who bought it in 2012 for $13.5 million from the late head of Dow Jones’s digital publications, Gordon McLeod, and Melanie Grisanti.

The spread opens to a center hall that leads to a wood-paneled library.

There are also beamed and coffered ceilings, a formal dining room and a chef’s kitchen with a butler’s pantry. The Emery Roth-designed landmark, which dates to the 1930s, was the first “twin-towered” building in the city.

“It was one of those remarkable apartments,” Keaton told Wine Spectator. “There was a window on every side. Everything was wide open.”
