Talk show legend Dick Cavett has lowered the price of his Montauk mansion by $13.5 million — a 22 percent discount.

He listed Tick Hall, as the historic estate is called, last year for $62 million and it just returned to market for $48.5 million.

Designed by McKim, Mead & White and dating to the 1880s, the home burned down and was famously rebuilt in its original style in the 1990s.

It has a long and colorful history, hosting celebrities like Woody Allen, Mick and Bianca Jagger, Andy Warhol, Dustin Hoffman, Edward Albee, Tennessee Williams and Robert Redford.

The 7,000-square-foot main house, which sits on 20 acres of oceanfront property, has seven bedrooms, a pool, a pond and direct access to the beach. Cavett first started renting there in the 1950s before later buying with his late wife, actress Carrie Nye.

After selling their Central Park West co-op for $5.6 million, Cavett and his wife Martha live in Ridgefield, Conn. The listing brokers are Gary DePersia and Karen Kelley of Corcoran.
