“But it’s also exciting. The beauty of having a home in the Hamptons is to entertain. Now we’ll be able to do more of it.”

The new home, which sits on two acres near the ocean, in Southampton, will feature nine bedrooms and a double-height ballroom over an indoor pool. It will take about 18 months to complete. The Shafiroffs bought the home in 1966 without a broker from Steve Tanger, of Tanger Outlets. It’s at 218 Wyandanch Lane.
