Actress and entrepreneur Drew Barrymore nabbed a gorgeous Hamptons farmhouse, Gimme Shelter can reveal. And, bless her heart, we hear she has no plans to tear it down to build a newer, modern house.
The six-bedroom, six-bathroom shingled home in Sagaponack was last asking $5.97 million — down from its 2016 asking price of $7.49 million. It was not clear at press time how much Barrymore paid.
Barrymore’s publicist tells The Post that she is merely renting the property — but sources counter that it was never for rent and only for sale.

Inside, there’s a formal living room with a brick fireplace, an open chef’s kitchen, a family room with a cathedral ceiling, a library and a study.
There are also “privacy hedges,” notes the listing, along with patios and decking — all less than a mile from the beach. Perfect for Barrymore and the two daughters she shares with ex-husband Will Kopelman.
“She loved the idea of an old barn and its history,” says a spy. “She saw this barn and fell in love with it. She came to look at it on her own. … It was a smooth transaction.”
Barrymore, the spy adds, wasn’t looking for a large property. “She didn’t want a mega-mansion,” the spy says. “It’s in a pretty normal little neighborhood.”
The listing broker is Chris Burnside, of Brown Harris Stevens, who declined comment.
