Here’s the story of a woman rescued from a doomsday cult adjusting to life in New York City — adjusting so well to it, in fact, that she just sold her home for big bucks.

Ellie Kemper, the actress who starred in “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt,” actually played that role on screen. But in real life, the Missouri native and Princeton University alumna sold her renovated co-op on Manhattan’s tony Upper West Side for $3.3 million, according to city finance records filed on Monday.

Kemper and her husband, the television writer and comedian Michael Koman, first sought to list the three-bedroom property with pastel-painted walls for $3.35 million in March, as The Post reported, but ended up putting it on the market for a higher $3.5 million. They purchased it in 2016 for $2.8 million, records show.

The spread, which has three bathrooms and views of townhouse gardens, didn’t spend long for sale. In May, a deal entered contract after just more than a month for sale. At the time, the closing price wasn’t known.

Located off a semi-private elevator vestibule, the home opens to an entrance gallery leading to side-by-side living and dining rooms — the former of which has a fireplace. The eat-in kitchen has custom cabinets and granite counters, while the master bedroom has generous closet space and an ensuite bathroom. All rooms have 10-foot-high ceilings and handsome herringbone floors.

Listing images additionally show moldings and wainscoting, as well as a washer/dryer.

Maria Manuche, of Compass, shared the listing with Clare Cukier. A representative for the brokerage declined to comment on the sale.
