This southern California home, now on the market for $4.75 million, doesn’t just come with a heated pool and over 5 acres of lush landscaping. It also has a celebrity past.
Actor couple John Krasinski and Emily Blunt formerly owned this 4,177-square-foot property at 1250 Foothill Road in Ojai — an affluent city located northwest of Los Angeles.
“A Quiet Place” co-stars Krasinski and Blunt — who made recent waves by respectively starring in “Jack Ryan” and “Mary Poppins Returns” — bought the four-bedroom spread for $2.15 million in 2012. Per 2017 reports, they sold it for $2.4 million. It was a decent profit, but a far cry from the $4.25 million they originally sought.
That means the new owner, whose identity isn’t immediately clear, stands to make a tidy profit should the home sell for its asking price.
The bones of the solar-powered home include four bedrooms and five bathrooms, and is accessed via a gated driveway.
Inside, a sweeping staircase stands between a formal dining room and a living room. A reading room features a fireplace, while a chef’s kitchen has Viking, Sub-Zero and Miele appliances. As for the bedrooms, the master suite has a walk-in closet — and another bedroom comes with its own living room.
Outside, there’s also a sports court with a basketball hoop, a lavender-lined orchard, more than 800 rose bushes, a vegetable garden and views of the Topatopa Mountains.
The Agency’s Gideon Lang-Laddie and Jonathan Ruiz, both of whom declined comment, are repping this listing.
