A West Chelsea apartment at 337 W. 20th St., known as the Muffin House, is about to hit the market for $950,000.

Samuel Bath Thomas, the English-born baker who founded the famed Thomas English Muffins brand, once baked his breakfast treats in the basement of this charming 19th-century building.

The one-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment coming to market measures 450 square feet and comes with a 600 square foot outdoor space.

Thomas brought his famed recipe, which snagged him a spot in the American Society of Baking’s Hall of Fame, to the New World when he emigrated in 1874. In 2006, a room-size oven that Thomas once used was discovered in the basement.

The listing broker is Todd Vitolo of the Corcoran Group.
