An 18th-century stone home along the Hudson — rumored to have been George Washington’s office when his soldiers were guarding ferries around the Palisades cliffs from British troops — has just sold for its full asking price of $1.6 million.

The late landscape designer and photographer Judy Tomkins lived there, at 75 Washington Spring Road in the secret celebrity enclave of Snedens Landing, NY, for 60 years until her death at age 90 last year.

The 2,400-square-foot spread, originally built in the 1780s, sits on nearly 1 acre (beautifully landscaped, as featured in by Martha Stewart).

It features four bedrooms and two bathrooms — all less than half an hour away by car from Manhattan.

There are also two terraces, a sun room and three fireplaces.

Ellis Sotheby’s Marjorie Galen had the listing.
