Life doesn’t always imitate art — especially for Jemima Kirke.
The actress is best known for her role as Jessa in HBO’s “Girls” — a free-spirited character who doesn’t have a home base, gallivanting from one crash pad to another. In the show’s six seasons, she goes from living with her cousin Shoshanna (Zosia Mamet) to living with her boyfriend Adam (Adam Driver).

This listing comes at a transitional moment for Kirke, who divorced husband Michael Mosberg in the summer of 2016.
If the 3,360-square-foot property sells for that price, Kirke stands to pocket a nice profit. She purchased the home, located at 408 Clinton St. in Carroll Gardens, for $2 million in 2013.
The townhouse, which dates back to 1899, stands four stories high and comes gut-renovated.
The work included turning the second floor into a floor-through master suite, where a claw-foot bathtub stands at the foot of the bed. The facelift also includes imported touches, like French moldings and Italian marble mantels.
The parlor level comes with high ceilings, tall windows and a woodburning fireplace. There are three additional bedrooms — for a total of four — as well as a roof terrace with views of Lower Manhattan.
Kirke’s home is designed for single-family use, but it could be legally used as two units. The ground floor can be converted from a living space into an income-producing apartment, according to listing agent James Joshua Viscardi of Brown Harris Stevens.
