A pair of royals are turning a Southampton mansion into a palace of sorts.

Marie-Chantal Miller, the British-born Crown Princess of Greece — where the monarchy was abolished in the 1970s — and her husband, Crown Prince Pavlos, have purchased a 13,000-square-foot Southampton estate for $16.5 million, according to the Real Deal. The property is located at 385 Great Plains Road.

That sale price marks a hefty discount — a nearly 40% drop from the listing’s original $27 million asking price in 2009. The following years saw a relisting in 2012 for $25.8 million. The price dropped to $19 million in 2017 before rising $3 million to $22 million in 2018.

The Real Deal identified the seller as socialite Ulla Parker, who swapped brokers and rented out the spread during the course of its decade-plus listing history.

The couple will have 10 bedrooms and eight bathrooms. Set on 3.44 acres, the shingled spread additionally features fireplaces, oversize paned windows and a large chef’s kitchen accented with wide-plank floors. The listing images also show a wood-paneled library, a gym, a tennis court and a pool.

Djida Oppenheim of Saunders & Associates marketed the listing. Andrea Ackerman of Brown Harris Stevens brought the buyer.
