A flush hedgie just rented designer Elie Tahari’s Hamptons mansion, at 135 Crestview Lane in Sagaponack, which was asking $800,000 for July and August.

Listing brokers Matt Breitenbach, of Douglas Elliman, and Keith Green and Ann Ciardullo, of Sotheby’s, declined to comment as did Elliman brokers Tal and Oren Alexander, who helped bring in the buyer.

But the 4,500 square foot oceanfront estate sits on 250 feet of sandy beach and comes with three bedrooms, three bathrooms and one fireplace — all on 2½ acres.

The master suite features ocean views.
