One spot she checked out was rock star Jon Bon Jovi’s $37.5 million, prewar penthouse duplex at 158 Mercer St., the New Museum building, in SoHo. The six-bedroom unit is 7,452 square feet. The elevator opens onto a vestibule that leads to a great room with a wood-burning fireplace, a dining area and a chef’s kitchen with 11-foot ceilings. Upstairs — accessed by stair or elevator — there’s a more formal living and dining area, with another fireplace and second kitchen. The floor opens to stunning landscaped terraces. This level also boasts a screening room, projection room, additional bedroom, full bathroom and powder room.

Urban Compass listing brokers Leonard Steinberg and Hervé Senequier and Douglas Elliman’s Raphael De Niro did not return calls.
