It’s NoMad, as in the area North of Madison Square Park, a name that developers have been trying to make happen for more than a decade. It’s NoMad, as in the new fancypants NoMad Hotel, perhaps the most significant sign that this area is changing and a notably upmarket joint from the Sydell Group, who also developed the hipster Ace Hotel one block away.
