A 19th-century Hampton Bays home with Hollywood cred has sold for $5.7 million — quite a bit more than its $4.99 million asking price — setting a new record for the East End hamlet.

The pad, at 132 Newtown Road, was featured in films like “Margot at the Wedding” and “The Forgotten.”

While Hampton Bays is often painted as the most affordable spot in the Hamptons, with lots of modestly priced home sales, that “momentum is translating into interest in the higher end of the market,” says real estate appraiser Jonathan Miller. “In other words,” he adds, “the value proposition for a luxury home is competitive with more traditional locations for luxury farther east.”

This property features a 3,725-square-foot Dutch colonial main house, known as Shorebluff, which comes with no central air or heat, though it does boast stunning views of the Great Peconic Bay. There’s also 2,646-square-foot guest cottage and a 1,000-square-foot carriage house.

The estate, spread across 9 acres, includes 225 feet of shoreline, says Douglas Elliman listing broker Todd Bourgard.
