The 15th-floor home, at 160 E. 72nd St., first went on the market priced at $5.7 million earlier this year.

The buyer is metals exec Grant Quasha, chief US investment officer for UK-based GFG Alliance’s Liberty Metals, and his wife Elizabeth.

The three-bedroom, 4½-bathroom co-op is a full floor and comes with its own elevator landing, a 31-foot living room, a woodburning fireplace, built-in bookcases, arched windows, wide plank floors, original moldings and a planted terrace.

The building dates to 1928.

Leslie Coleman, of Brown Harris Stevens, has the listing.
