This could be the start of a beautiful friendship.
Late actor Humphrey Bogart once frequented this home at 140 Greenway North in Forest Hills Gardens when it was owned by his cousin, Mary Ruth Bogart.
There’s still a Bogart family crest on the home’s limestone fireplace, say sellers Margaret and Yungman Lee.
The eight-bedroom, 11,000-square-foot property was built in 1910 and is now on the market for $3.99 million.

In 1943, Mary Ruth Bogart sold the home to Salvatore Giordano, an air conditioning pioneer who became president of Fedders Corporation — and was rumored to have stashed illicit cash behind paneling in the basement.
The house opens to a grand entry foyer with leaded glass windows and a spiral staircase. There’s also a music room with French doors that lead to the patio, and an eat-in chef’s kitchen with a butler’s pantry. Elsewhere, there’s a wood-paneled library comes with stained glass windows and a dining room has twin Juliet balconies
The listing broker is Douglas Elliman’s Rachel Borut.
