Mickey Drexler, chairman of J. Crew, has just relisted his apartment at 140 Franklin St. following a broker swap and a price drop.
News of the pad, which is now asking $18.5 million, was first reported by real estate blog Curbed. The current price is almost half its original 2015 ask.
Drexler bought the unit for $14.3 million in 2012.
The home — with five bedrooms over 6,226 square feet — has high ceilings, wide-plank Brazilian wood flooring, original cast-iron columns and a chef’s kitchen with Sub-Zero, Miele and Gaggenau appliances.

In 2015, following a colorful renovation by Thierry Despont, Drexler put it back on the market for $35 million.
The price then underwent several discounts.
The listing is now shared in a co-exclusive with Corcoran’s Deborah Grubman and David Adler, and Halstead’s Richard Orenstein.
