The Hamptons estate where Jackie Kennedy Onassis spent her childhood summers has sold — but in two parcels.
Jackie Kennedy OnassisReuters/CORBISOne 4-acre parcel from the main estate, at 40 Middle Lane in East Hampton, has sold and closed for $11.25 million, under its $11.99 million asking price. (It’s not the only Hamptons listings to see price chops.)
This parcel includes the estate’s original grass tennis court.
The main house on 7 acres, however, is still in contract with a different buyer.
That second parcel, at 121 Further Lane, was listed for $29.99 million by Douglas Elliman’s Carol Nobbs and Eileen O’Neill.
Designed by Arthur Jackson, the home is named Lasata, which means “place of peace” in the Shinnecock language.
While it was on the market, in 2016, Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich and his wife Dasha Zhukova rented the house from its prior owners, Reed and Delphine Krakoff.
