Entertainment TV personality Jason Kennedy — the host of “E! News” for 18 years — and his wife, the inspirational author Lauren Scruggs Kennedy, have sold their LA home for $3.9 million, Gimme Shelter can reveal.
The Kennedys bought the residence in Agoura Hills for $2.4 million in 2018 and remodeled it, first listing it for $4.69 million in August.
Located at 2052 Shadow Creek Dr., it’s in a gated community. The property comes with four bedrooms and five baths, and sits on 1.5 landscaped acres.
The family, a source says, will remain in California. Kennedy had aimed to move to Florida, but Scruggs Kennedy wanted to stay in the Golden State. They’ll now live in Malibu.

There’s also a home gym, a sauna and a water filtration system.
Outside, there’s a pool, mature trees and an al-fresco dining area — along with a four-car garage and access to nearby trails for hiking.
The listing broker was Stephen Sweeney of the Beverly Hills Estates.
Outside of the sale of their home, the couple also share a podcast, “The Kennedys,” and a YouTube channel where they share their own live therapy sessions.

We are not ever trying to be manufactured to make an episode. We are paying [the therapist] because we need therapy. We want to be better and we want you to listen in, in the hopes that it helps you.”
Scruggs Kennedy, for her part, has written about losing her eye and hand and suffering a brain injury in a small plane propeller accident in 2011 before finding love with Kennedy. The two married in 2014 and share two young children.
