It takes a village to raise a child — and it also takes a village to shelter a celeb.
Everybody’s favorite pirate, actor Johnny Depp, is looking to sell his roughly 37-acre estate in the South of France — a former Provençal village with more than 12 buildings — for approximately $26 million, according to the Wall Street Journal.
Not only does the price nab the sprawling spread located just 17 miles from Saint-Tropez, but it also includes Depp’s furniture, DVDs, books and art.
The village, whose structures likely date back to the early 19th century, had been a ghost town for years and was in rough shape before Depp purchased it in 2001. He then flushed roughly $10 million into its restoration.
And the finished product is impressive: The main house is 4,300-square-feet with five bedrooms, 3 ½ bathrooms and an art studio. There’s also a former church that was converted into a guest house, several other cottages for guests, a restaurant with a full kitchen and a laundry building.
As an extra bonus, there are also two swimming pools, a skate park with a half-pipe and a gym.
