West Coast-based NBA player Jonathan “J.J.” Redick, of the Los Angeles Clippers, is in contract to buy a $4.25 million duplex penthouse in Brooklyn.

It’s at 51 Jay St., a warehouse in Dumbo that’s being converted to 74 luxury condos.

The three-bedroom, four-bathroom unit is 2,058 square feet. Redick, who studied history and cultural anthropology at Duke, will feel right at home in the artsy neighborhood. His father, a stoneware potter, even gave him the middle name “Clay.”

The listing broker is Deborah Brener Zolan, of Halstead. Robin Schneiderman, director of new business development for Halstead Property Development Marketing, declined to comment.
