A Cobble Hill townhouse that was once home to the late photojournalist Charles Harbutt and his then-wife, Alberta, has hit the market for $4.99 million.
Harbutt, 79, died of emphysema in 2015. The 25-foot-wide Greek Revival home, at 190 Warren St., dates back to 1841.
It comes with high ceilings, a large garden in the rear and a front stoop. Harbutt’s work appeared in Life, Newsweek, the New York Times Magazine and National Geographic. He was also twice elected president of Magnum, an international cooperative of photographers.
Ravi Kantha and Matthew Lesser of Leslie J. Garfield are marketing this listing.
