Legendary ballet dancer Valentina Kozlova leapt to fame in 1979 when she dramatically defected to the United States while performing as a principal dancer with the Bolshoi Ballet in New York City.

Honored by the Carnegie Foundation last month during its Distinguished Immigrants tribute, Kozlova made her name in Manhattan as a principal dancer with the New York City Ballet.

She then opened up her own ballet school, the Valentina Kozlova Dance Conservatory of New York, which recently relocated to Norwalk, Conn. She’s also the founder of the Valentina Kozlova International Ballet Competition and the Valentina Kozlova Dance Foundation.

Now the Russian-American ballet icon is selling her Hampton Bays dacha — that’s Russian for cottage — for $569,000.

The charming home is an updated ranch at 8 Holiday Court. At 1,200 square feet, the cozy sanctuary is set in a wooded landscape and has three bedrooms, 1-and-a-half bathrooms and a wood stove.

There’s also a deck, outdoor shower and fencing for privacy.

The listing brokers are Douglas Elliman’s Constance Porto, Anne Marie Francavilla and Carol Pugliese.
