The Upper East Side flocked to John DeLucie’s Crown restaurant in its early days, which was located in an elegant limestone townhouse at 24 E. 81st St.
Now the eatery is closed and the townhouse’s real estate developer/owner is putting the mansion back on the market — for $59 million.
The townhouse, which comes with all the bells and whistles, is also commercially zoned, said listing brokers Tal and Oren Alexander, of Douglas Elliman’s Alexander Team.
“What makes the townhouse so unique is that it can work well as a gallery for a family collection, a private members club like Lulu’s, an arts club, a consulate or, of course, a mega-mansion,” said Tal Alexander, en route to Venice.
