The late Hollywood producer Martin “Marty” Bregman entertained many a Hollywood celebrity in this penthouse at the El Dorado, the famed Art Deco building at 300 Central Park West.

Now his first wife, Elizabeth “Betty” Bregman, has just dropped the price of their glamorous five-bedroom duplex to $11.9 million — down from its $13.99 million asking price last June. (They bought the home in 1962.)

The 12-room, 5,400-square-foot penthouse comes with a stunning wraparound terrace, two staircases and floor-to-ceiling views of Central Park and the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Reservoir.

Bregman got his start as the personal manager for stars like Barbra Streisand, Woody Allen, Bette Midler and Faye Dunaway.

He went on to produce classics, like “Scarface,” “Serpico,” and “Dog Day Afternoon.” Betty and Marty were a powerhouse couple throwing lavish dinner parties for Hollywood and Broadway stars at the apartment for stars like Al Pacino, Alan Alda, Marcello Mastroianni and Judy Garland.

Betty tells Gimme she even hosted an engagement party for Streisand and Elliott Gould here, after serving as Streisand’s maid of honor at their secret wedding. Liza Minnelli’s wedding party was also entertained here.

“Somehow word leaked to the papers, and we had crowds in the lobby trying to get a glimpse of Judy Garland,” Bergman tells us.

The 5,400-square-foot duplex, on the 18th and 19th floors, comes with an “embassy-size” formal dining room, a chef’s eat-in kitchen, lots of storage and a grand staircase that leads to the private bedroom wing. There’s also a second staircase.

The Emery Roth-designed building features a half basketball court, a children’s playroom, bike room, gym and parking garage — along with a hefty $10,932 monthly maintenance fee.
