An oceanfront home at 328 Gin Lane in Southampton has closed for $31 million — the highest Hamptons sale so far this year, according to real estate appraiser Jonathan Miller.

(It broke the record set by 32 Middle Lane in East Hampton, owned by the late Texas financier Daniel Breen, which sold for about $25 million last month.)

The new record-holder is 2,500 square feet and was built in 1997. It comes with four bedrooms and 2½ bathrooms.

The sellers are the children of the late businessman John F. Poster: London-based Kim Poster, a theater producer, and Mon Ling “Ling Ling” Landegger were the sellers.

The listing broker was Sotheby’s International Realty’s Beate Moore. The buyers were repped by Douglas Elliman’s Erica Grossman.
